- Summerville Community Acupuncture's primary mission is to help your body do what comes naturally - to feel better.
- Okay, yes, we do use needles. And maybe you think you're afraid of needles. But seriously? For a chance at feeling GOOD again, you might at least give it a try!
- Pay what you can afford between $20-40, no questions asked.
- So, that takes care of most of your reasons for putting it off. We're here, in your town, it works, it's comfy, and it's affordable. What are you waiting for? Come on in, we're here to help you!
Allison Davis, L.Ac.
I grew up in Marksville, Louisiana and began my study of medicinal plants and alternative medicine at LSU, where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agriculture. Pursuing my path, I studied classical herbal medicine texts, classical I Ching calculations, and medical qigong with Dr. Peter Chow at the International College of Classical Chinese Medicine.
I received my Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Tucson.
Some things you may not know about me: I worked in the landscaping department at Disney World, I was a research farmer in St. Croix, I taught junior high science, and poked people in the Cayman Islands.
When I’m not poking peeps, I enjoy hanging out with my 3 cats, gardening, listening to music and being outside with nature. I am grateful for the Summerville community. I am excited about being a part and having the chance to help you live a healthier, happier life.
I am licensed by the SCLLR (South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation) and certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture).
